Wedge gate valve is one of the most common opening and
closing valves, which uses wedge-shaped gate plates
sealed on both sides to connect or cut off the medium in
the pipeline. Wedge gate valves are not allowed to be
opened slightly as energy saving devices in the pipeline to avoid accelerated damage to the sealing surface due to the erosion of high-speed flowing medium.
Characteristics of Wedge Gate Valves
1. The body adopts a structural shape suitable for the lining
process requirements; The inner cavity of the body and bonnet, as well as the outer surface of the gate plate and stem which are directly in contact with the medium, are all lined with
fluoroplastics such as FEP (F46) or PCTFE (F3).
2.The sealing pair is made of FEP(F46)/FEP (F46) or other
materials, with low friction coefficient and low opening and
closing torque.
3. PTFE (F4) standard packing is used for packing, with good
sealing performance and convenient maintenance and
replacement
4. The elastic gate can compensate for the sealing deviation
between the gate sealing surface and the seat, with good
coincidence and ideal sealing effect.;
5. The medium can pass through the gate valve from either side in
any direction, and is suitable for use as an opening and closing
device on pipelines where the medium direction may change.
